I chose a career in family medicine as a nurse practitioner because I love the unique opportunity it provides to work closely with individuals and families to improve their health throughout their lives. I find great satisfaction in working with patients to prevent and manage chronic diseases including diabetes and hypertension. I also have a passion for women’s health. The most rewarding aspect of my job is having the opportunity to partner with patients to improve overall health and quality of life over time. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
